Well, we’re a little behind: we haven’t had a chance to go through the Christmas pictures—or even the last batch of pictures from before Christmas—yet, but here’s a small selection of outtakes from our oh-so-professional Christmas card photo shoot.
To go with the Halloween pictures, here’s a video clip illustrating Julia’s special brand of TLC for her brother. Needless to say, we’re not going to ask her to babysit anytime soon.
They’re a bit overdue (OK, more than a bit), but we’ve finally posted some Halloween pictures. Julia loved her chicken costume–in fact, she insisted on putting it on again this evening. Joseph was a bit nonplussed by his elephant outfit, but that may have had something to do with the fact that the trunk kept sliding down over his eyes.
We’ve also thrown in a picture of Julia from about a year ago that I don’t think has been posted online before. It’s at the tail end of the album.
Joseph got his first tooth today! Well, actually, I’m not sure that’s true. We saw his first tooth today; for all we knew, it came through sometime in August. It’s just barely peeking through his gums, though, so it seems to be a pretty recent development.
Here’s a visual demonstration of just how swimmingly the kids are getting along.
And here are the pictures themselves, in which Julia and Joseph get along swimmingly, for the most part.
We’re clearing out a deep backlog of pictures and video clips this evening. Here’s the first item: a short video clip of Joseph taking a bath, with his big sister lending a hand.
Joseph spent his first night in his own bed Saturday night. Perhaps not coincidentally, he also slept (nearly) through the night for the first time, only waking up to nurse once, around 5:00. Even Julia dealt with the situation well, voicing nary a complaint about her new roommate.
All in all, it looks like the change was harder on Julie than anyone else. On the plus side, however, she’s getting her nightstand back, not to mention the freedom to roll over in bed.
Here you can finally find our most recent batch of pictures, covering most of August, including Julia’s birthday. As you can tell, Julia remains a shy, retiring young lady who is ever-modest in front of the camera. We’re not sure about Joseph yet, because his sister won’t actually let him into the frame.
